Torr na Locha, Mull Accommodation Details
| 8 person | Availability | Prices |
Torr na Locha is a long thin croft house, fully modernised in 2009 as holiday cottage accommodation on Mull. It is well insulated, with central heating throughout and a whole house ventilation system, keeping the house lovely and fresh(this system brings fresh air in that has been heated by the air it replaces).
Downstairs. There is a large kitchen dining area with range cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave as well as a comprehensive selection of pans and crockery to allow 8 people to cook and eat together. To the rear of the kitchen is a small utility room with washing machine and dryer. The living room has a solid fuel stove, digital TV and DVD along with a selection of DVD's, games and books. The entrance hall has a large cupboard for coats and boots and the bunk room leads off from here.

Changeover. Please note that the changeover date for this cottage is FRIDAY.
Pets. We are happy to accept dogs, up to a maximum of 2 and at an additional charge of £15 per week. We do ask that they aren't allowed upstairs at any time. There are plenty of places around and about for them to get a run off the lead and the area is usually sheep and cattle free although we can't guarantee this.
Access. The house is situated at the end of just over half a mile of rough farm track and it isn't suitable for sports cars with low profile wheels or people who aren't comfortable taking their cars off tarmac. With patience any normal car will easily drive up to the house, although we do recommend particular care when first arriving if your car is heavily loaded.
Shopping Bunessan has a small but comprehensive Spar with a post office and you can easily keep yourself supplied for the week. There is also a general grocers and book shop at Fionnphort and Pennygael has a small shop that sells venison from the local estate and a range of other groceries. The nearest supermarket is in Tobermory, so if there is anything you are particularly fond of we would suggest you bring it with you.
Telephone Both O2 and Vodaphone work upstairs and outside at the cottage. Downstairs reception is more unpredictable. I'm not certain about other networks, but they are unlikely to work unless they use the O2 or Vodaphone mast system.
